The Revelation

I live like a vagabond

Caught in a dark hurricane,

Not knowing whence I came

Not knowing when it all began.

I walk through a hazy maze,

My eyes teary from shattered pieces

Of colored fantasies cutting through my soles,

Yet, desperate on my insane chase,

I keep walking to find the light,

The source and sink of my delight…

The maze gives way to a tapering lane

And a mirror awaits me at the end

I stare at my own, now glowing self

As the revelation becomes apparent..

All this while, the one I’ve been searching,

The one I want to love,

The one who would make me eternally happy

And complete, without a doubt

Now stands in the mirror before me,

Ready to be one with me….
